WHISPERING ANGEL , CHÂTEAU D’ESCLANS
Light, fresh, creamy and a pleasing shade of pale salmon pink, this glamorous flagship wine of Château d’Esclans – a vineyard north of
Saint-Tropez – is an excellent example of a world-class, grown-up Provençal rosé. Blended from a trio of grenache, cinsault and vermentino grapes from mostly old vines, it’s known for its delicate, barely there bone-dry finish and, contrary to what you might think, can be enjoyed long after the warmer months are over.

On the palate, there are vibrant notes of pink fruit and the freshness of melon contrasted with a creamy, textured and fuller body than previous vintages. On the mid-palate is a hint of pink grapefruit that brings a mouthwatering acidity for a long and lasting finish.
Food pairings
Rosé isn’t just for summer quaffing! Beautifully versatile, you can enjoy Whispering Angel with all kinds of different cuisines. CAFAYATE ESTATE MALBEC
Harvested in Cafayate, Salta – a small, boutique wine-growing region that’s home to some of the highest vineyards in the world – this is an aromatic wine with great concentration and depth. At high altitude the hot, sunny days force the grapes to thicken their skins, resulting in more concentrated colours, tannins, aromas and flavours. Cool nights, meanwhile, help the grapes keep their natural acidity and low sugar content.
Tasting notes
This is a more complex expression of Argentinian malbec, with well-defined red and black fruit aromas and hints of spice and vanilla. It’s medium-bodied with good acidity.
Food pairings
As you’d expect, it is best enjoyed with platters of cured meat, and mains of griddled steak, vegetables and tofu
