Maple, sea salt and chilli roasted nuts

Ingredients
- 100g pecan nut halves
- 100g macadamia nut halves
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 scant tsp sea salt flakes
- ¼ tsp crushed dried chilli flakes
Step by step
Make up to a week ahead; store in an airtight container.

Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas 6 and line a baking tray with nonstick baking paper. Mix together the nuts and put on the tray and roast for 3 minutes.

Remove from the oven, drizzle over the maple syrup and sprinkle over the sea salt and chilli flakes.

Mix well then return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Set aside to cool, then tip into a bowl to serve.
These nuts are dangerously addictive – you won't be able to stop at one handful!
